click "View", then "toolbars", then uncheck the ones that you do not want. You can also select "customize" to make more changes.

Go to Start, Control Panel, Add or Delete Programs
Most tool bars should be lised on this list. You can uninstall each when you click on them.

Best way to do this is to use CounterSpy. It is free for 15 days. When run, it will gather up anything and everything on your system that is even remotely like a toolbar and offer you an option to remove it or ignore it. If you remove it, it will archive it so you can retrieve it later.

hide them:
go up to your standard toolbar (the one with file, edit, view...)
click on view
scroll down until you reach toolbars
then just uncheck the ones that you don't want showing
OR
uninstall them:
go to "control panel"
and then "add or remove programs"
then find the name of the toolbar and click uninstall
