I'm thrilled to see another Denny Hamlin fan. This kid is the real deal and if he keeps running as consistently as he has been, he will be a contentor. No one looked at him to make the chase but here he is. He's quiet in the headlines, kinda like Kenseth was during his championship run. It is possible.

He does not would desire to all he has to do is save in simple terms before Jimmie, that's no longer unavoidably a win. If Jimmie Johnson finishes 6th and Hamlin 9th Then Denny Hamlin is champ. by 3 factors. If Jimmie finishes 6th and does not lead a lap and Hamlin finishes tenth and leads a minimum of one lap Hamlin wins by 4. If Hamlin finishes12th and leads the main laps and Johnson nonetheless finishes 6th and fails to steer then Hamlin might win by 2! So he would desire to end 6 spots at the back of Jimmie yet by maximum advantageous the main laps he'd win the call. in spite of the undeniable fact that, Jimmie isn't stunning at residing house the place as Hamlin is, to boot because of the fact the completed Gibbs team, it is one song the place no Hendrick driving force has ever gained.. My prediction, Jimmie Johnson 5th+5 bonus factors, Denny Hamlin 8th+5 bonus factors, Kevin Harvick 2d+5 bonus factors. With Joey Logano prevailing the race. which ability the perfect standings may be Denny Hamlin 147 Jimmie Johnson -2 Kevin Harvick -13

I say yes. I mean he made it into the chase right? So it's anyone's "game" so to speak. I think the 2nd place runner is only 5 points out of the leader so anything can happen. I like Denny Hamlin too, but any rookie that makes it to the chase is awesome and I'm pullin for him secretly after Jr and Kahne.

No Way. He is still a rookie and (like Kyle Busch) is big headed.
Denny Hamlin is no match for Jr., Harvick, Gordon and everyone else in the chase. He might win one 2-3 years from now but he will not win one before Jr. or Harvick. He is not as good as a lot of people think he is.

No, while he does drive well, he does at times drive like a rookie. He looked like one last night at times and was lucky to get away with some of the moves he made, especially forcing things 3-wide when he needed to be more patient. I'm not going to discount Hamlin winning multiple championships in his career, but I don't think he will win it this year, but will easily be Rookie of the Year.

He faultered a little Saturday night. I was there at Richmond, and he just wasn't as good has he should have been. It would be great if he could win, a new record for a rookie, but I have to keep cheering my driver - Kasey

Of course, but it's still too early to get excited about any one of the chase guys.Just play steady and safe and dont do anything stupid. It only takes one bad race to end your chance at the trophy.
