As long as the Media bosses can still make money by selling stories about Diana they will continue to do so. As long as the viewing figures stay high for the documentaries made then they will keep making them.

Diana is regarded as the peoples princess and therefore many people will not let go until they know what really happened. Therefore money is made out of all the speculation as many people are still very interested.

I agree with you though that it is time we as a nation moved on, and let the prince's grieve in peace.

although i do believe that investigators should still work on the case to determine what happened and only once they know and with William and Harry's agreement should it be publisized.

because people are generally kind of stupid. most of us have really dull boring lives, we work a job come home to boring television, our kids are bored and constantly bickering about the most trivial things. Nothing much in the news that is really good news. Oh, yeah there is sports,... but like thats gonna have any real effect on the way the world works.

So what else is there? Gossip, lots of gossip, even if it there is not a single grain of truth to any of it, gossip makes for something to pass the time and chatting with your friends, it doesn't really cost a single pennie. Most gossip is just made up and sensationalized to make it more interesting.

Celebrities are often the targets of gossip because they get to live the better life, that we will never get to live.

So it isn't that we're being mean or cruel, but its just the way things are - how it works in this world we call life.

cheers

Some people don't seem to have lives of their own, just a fantasy world where they knew Di. And the never ending saga sells newspapers!

Isn't even this question raking her up again? I think she would be unique as a wife to one heir to the throne and mother to another if her life and even her death were not to be of interest to people indefinitely. People are still talking about Jesus 2006 years after His horrific death and King Harold a millenium after his so why should Diana be different. She courted to the spotlight in life so who can realistically expect that to stop after her dramatic death.

She may be 10 years gone, but she still sells newspapers, and people still question the way she died. Thats why her memory will probably never fade away.

Thats the way our media works. If they wanted to let her rest in peace then they wouldnt have any repoters making money and no channels to prodcast the new news..

Its so sad isn't it. I think it was a terrible accident that she died, and if it was on purpose then whoever did it would get what they deserve eventually. And that horrible man, Paul Burrell or whatever, I think he should just be thrown down a well or something!

People who loved her will *never* allow her memory to rust!

Heck, the Nazi lovers *still* lay alms to hitler!!

Now just *why* would you wish for her memory go to rust and ruin?? Of *course* the world is interested in what the boys are up to now!! After all, it *was* Charles who did her wrong, with his long term affair with that rat bag face Camillian!

Princess Dianna was FULL of compassion,..........for *everyone*! Just *why* would you *want* her legacy to die?
