I'm 16 weeks pregnant and I have had this headache since yesterday. Tynenol is the only pain reliever that you can take when you're pregnant, and unfortunately, it does nothing for me. I tried taking a nap, but it only made me feel worse. Any other suggestions??

thanks for all the great answers . . . I would have to agree that maybe I was dehydrated . . I took your advice and drank 3 large cups of water (I didn't realize that I was that thirsty) . . but after the first cup, my headache had eased tremendously . .

Remove what ever is causing your tension. It sounds like you're having a tension headache. If your overwhelmed; DO LESS. If you're worried, LET IT ALL GO! Be encouraged, and definitely if you know the words of Prayer, PRAY!!! God will make you feel better, His remedy outweighs Tylenol 100%. God Bless you, your family and your bun in the oven :-)

Take tylenol and rest. Put a cold wash cloth on your head and just relax. You can't take anything other than tylenol while you're pregnant. Make sure you are hydrated well and eat. Sometimes baby is just hungry or needs some water.

In between your thumb and pointer finger is a pressure point if you lightly massage this area your headache will most likely go away. If it continues see your doctor it might be a condition brought on by your pregnancy. Good Luck

water. water. water. and then when that's not the answer, see a chiropractor. they can adjust your lower back (where the headache is coming from) and you'll be on your merry way. yes, they do adjust pregnant women, babies, and everyday people.

Have your husband rub your temples, and your feet (that old reflexology thing). Cool cloths on your head and a cup of herbal tea might help.

Try a warm bath and lots of quiet, or maybe a nice quiet walk in the fresh air (depending where you live, I guess!).

Sometimes massaging the temples helps and then something cool on the back of the neck. Be sure to keep your feet up and relax!!
