I just saw about 26 minutes into this video Rumsfeld, under Ford, give the same speech about Russia WMD he gave us a couple years ago about Iraq.

You dont know how RIGHT you are....take your thoughts and multiply them by 1Million and you have the thoughts and feelings that every US citizen should have.....our worst fear, WORST WORST fear is our own Gov.

Want to know what's even more amusing...
Track down the records for the Congressional committee testimony when FISA was being debated. Cheney and Rumsfeld made the same arguments then, that there should be a blanket exception for executive action when dealing with national security.
Congress rejected that argument, and specifically say that FISA procedures shall be the exclusive means by which electronic surveillance shall be carried out (18 USC 2511). Now, 30 years later, Cheney and Rumsfeld are trying the same arguments again, and neither Congress nor federal courts are buying it.

UM, they did find WMD in Iraq. It was not a lie. Sure, the weapons they found were only good for short-range detonation at this point, but Hussein was not supposed to have ANY weapons.
