i'd say his being gay or straight is not your business. if he wants to "come out" then let him do it without fear of rejection or humiliation. he is your brother and should receive your unconditional acceptance and love.
although we're living in 2006, deciding to reveal yourself as a gay person is still NOT an easy task. it takes courage to unveil this truth. the coming out person faces losing friends, being picked on and called names, etc. these are difficult obstacles to overcome unless the person has full support from family members and significant others.
on to your masturbating your brother. that is homosexual behavior, no matter what age. society dictates that we do not engage in sexual acts with our relatives, especially nuclear family members. Hey Man, you've got serious issue goin' on at your place. You cannot ignore it but you cannot put it as the end of the world. Listen, even if he likes boys ... so what? I know that you would feel bad about it cause you're normal but you gotta tolarate this "fact" that your brothea' is gay. You are brothers, why do you let your brother run your life? Why are you telling the world that you masturbated with your brother. Maybe he will grow up to be gay, maybe not. Why don't you talk to him about it. Maybe he just has questions about sex in general. 14 is too soon to know if you are really gay or not because you experience so many different hormonal changes. It's not appropriate to be jerking off in front of your brother. He probably is gay but even if he wasn't you need to have better boundaries especially since you are older than he is. Being "close" with your brother doesn't include being sexual with him so stop immediately. You don't need to say anything to him about being gay or not but he's your brother you need to love him AS A BROTHER even if he is gay.
