Get BearShare or Morpheus. Do not get LimeWire. It's absolutely full of spyware. Trust me, I had it, and I can't get the spyware to go away. I have BearShare now, and the only thing is that it installs a pop-up maker to keep it free. But it rarely pops up and when you uninstall BearShare, you can uninstall that, and it leaves no spyware. Don't get LimeWire or iMesh unless you want spyware out the wazoo.

Limewire, in the little "Accept these terms contracts" you have to agree to never sell and of the music you download or make it for people just for yourself but people ignore that small request and do it anyway.

go to www.utorrent.com
and download the standalone
then go to mininova.org and dl stuff
its the safest dl program thingy out there.

I recommend a program called Ares. It's free, easy to use, and you get no viruses or any 3rd party stuff. I've been using it for like 4 years and I've had no problems with it. You can get it from www.aresgalaxy.org. Hope this helps.

Try Limewire...free basic service and if you want to get an advanced feature you can buy (but you don't have to)...also there is Kazaa, but I have found Limewire to be a little better.
