the flight. I know we have landed several unmanned flights. How long does the trip take?

Technically it would be possible; given the right orbital configuration the trip would take about 18 months. Supplies wouldn't be the problem. The real problem is cosmic radiation and particularly solar flares. The amount of shielding that would be required to protect against that radiation, given our current technology, would be so great that it would be impractical to construct a vehicle that would keep the astronauts safe and healthy for that long.

Possible? Yes.

Viable is another question given the economic, medical & other non-technological issues involved.

Robots give more bang for the buck by a factor of 10 or greater.

Am not sure exactly how long it would take.

Well we know it is possible and one day in the future it will be mandatory if we keep mucking up our planet the way we are doing now.
