When you talk to soldiers coming back from Iraq, they say the violence is very localized and extremely over exaggerated by the mainstream media. They say great strides towards a self governing Iraq are being made but ignored by the media.

Cover ups like that are always horrible. Anyone who says one is not is an idiot. However, things being covered up by Bush at the moment and in the past have been of a much broader and worse scope. Anyone who denies that is an even bigger idiot.

You are talking the difference between a single persons actions with another individual versus violent and illegal acts done in our name as a nation against an entire race of people. Certainly everyone should be accountable for any personal wrong doing - but what recourse does a nation of citizens have against a mad dictator dragging the name of every American through the mud in order to satisfy his own personal vendettas?

Peace!

Apples and Oranges. One woman compared to 250,000. You are correct that Ted killed that gal and was able to buy his way out. What Bush is doing is more on a global scale. All I can wonder is, what will it cost Bush to get out of this.
