Darlin', it's a lovely name....truly!! It's a good blend of American and Mexican. I'm sure he's a good looking little guy, too. Heritage pride is a good thing, Lindsay. Just be sure that he is proud of BOTH sides of his family. Hugs and enjoy the little one. :)

I like the name but then again it could just be that it is surprising similar to a Martin's name I met through answers. The middle name isn't claims he doesn't have one but even the last name is almost like his. Last letter the only difference...strange. Allot of people though associate the name Martin with older people because it is not too common now. Who wants a name everyone else's child has anyway. Plus it's cool that it's a family name. What does it matter now though since you have already named the child? The middle name not too crazy about but we don't usually use our middle name anyway.

Not really strong. But it sounds OK. I have never heard Eloy before. My husband is from Mexico and we have thought of names before, we are going to go with Jose Rafael...after his brother...but Martin is a really versatile name since it can easily be said with an American accent. I figure Jose is pretty well known too. It is hard trying to make both families happy with a name.

Martin is not the strongest name, but some of the strongest man in history had that name. It's a very nice name, but not the strongest.
Eloy is a strong name, though.

Well I think the name is fine. My husband was the third in his family and I just could not let my son be the fourth, so we compramised and changed the middle name. I think that name will be fine and it sounds plenty strong.
