This fall, my husband and I are thinking about going to either Hancock Shaker Village or Strubridge Village, both in western Massachusetts. Which one if better? What is there to do there?

They're both nice.

I prefer Sturbridge village, not only because you can see people doing their trades like in the colonial times (blacksmith, using the loon, etc), but because Yankee Spirits is right down the road. And for years and years, they've had the cheapest spirits in the area!

Anyways, back to Sturbridge, it's a nice throwback, easy, relaxed, and fun if you've not been before.

Have a great time!
