2 weeks ago, flying to Madrid with Iberia, there were no especial restrictions. I contacted the airline office and the airport and both gave me the same answer: But only if you are flying directly to Spain. If you have a connecting flight in any city of the USA, then you can´t take gel, cream, spry products, medications, etc..... with you on board.
Anyway I preferred to put all those products in the other suitcase.
But I was able to carry with me my Ipod and laptop.

I've heard you can't have liquids in your hand luggage at all. So if you're taking any toileteries I'd make sure than say your deodorant is a solid. I'm traveling to England in the next few weeks so I am going to have to be careful about what I take as well.

check with the company you are flying with (most of them have a list on their website) however depending upon where you are flying from from the UK there is a decrease in your hand luggage size and also you cant take liquids on as hand luggage (that includes make up hair spray stick deodorants etc) electrical equipment is allowed again however. Best bet is to check with your carrier just before you leave as they keep changing it as the security status changes

The best thing to do is ask your travel agent, or if you book your flight online check with the airline your flying with, as rules may change at any given moment.

can take : laptop, 1 item of hand luggage, mobile phone, hand luggage must not contain make up, including creams or lotions, no lighters, keep the hand luggage to a minimum ... they will go through it piece by piece and confiscate anything they deem fit to .. you will be stuffed !! as your suitcase has already been cleared !!

Will not allow drinks or any type of containers through !! Check on the airlines website before you leave though ... the rules are changing constantly !

It's best if you check with the airport as each one has it's own list.

They will be relaxing the rules soon but it's better to find out now & be safe rather than being held up & searched.

Happy holidays :-)

Same as flying anywhere. Check with your ticket issuer or airport you will be flying out of. It is an extensive list, beginning with no explosives and no fire arms.

With all the new restrictions, it's best to check with the airport or airline beforehand, I think.
