What time era would you rather live?

I would like to have lived during the 50's. Where ladies were ladies, and families cared more about children and values and there was a sence of community and actual "real" relationships.

I'd like to visit all of the time era's in my time machine. That would be cool. However, I think that my favorite time era to live in is this one. Women have the right to vote. There is easy access to any information I may need. I don't have to be rich to eat. I have access to clean water that is pumped strait into my house. I love all modern conveniences.

The present! I wouldn't be alive if I lived in the Wild West. I had kidney failure and four surgeries. There wouldn't be much any doctors could do until fairly recent times. When my teeth begin to give me problems, I'll be glad to be in the present as well. Rameses II was one of the richest and most powerful men in the world in his time, yet he had abcesses in his teeth. I'll bet he'd like to live now and have his teeth fixed.

I'd go back only 10 years and invest in starbucks, and krispy kremes and get tons and tons of cash

Not me, those days weren't good for black people. I'll stick with the present. Don't really have other choices being of African American decent.
