what the sex of a baby is by what position you were in when you conceved? where would i find out more about this?

old wives tale - heard them all when i was pregnant and was completely shocked when i gave birth to a girl - over the moon but shocked as i 'knew' i was expcting a boy from all the crap people came out with whilst pregnant. the library probably has books on the subject or surf the net but dont take it all too seriously. have fun

Well if that were true and the old saying about fast heart beats being girls then I would have a baby girl, but i am sitting here with my beautiful little boy. So I personaly dont see in truth to it.

There is no 100% way to guarantee the sex of a child. Unfortunately for the both of us, I have two girls and want a boy so bad!

There is no truth to it. It's the luck of the fastest little swimmer that reaches the egg. It makes no difference the position.

At first I thought so! Now? I don't know. But in the beginning, someold lady told me, because we had two girls. The lady siad: if you want a baby boy, get her on top. for several weeks. I swear, the next baby was a boy!!!

No, I do not think so. I don't think the position has anything to do with it or everyone wanting a girl would be riding the pony.

yes i was carrying low and i was told i was haveing a boy.we didnt know the sex at this time,sure enough he was a boy. my friend nancy was carrying high,she had a girl!.......................i also heard that if you have alotof heart burn during your pregnancy your haveing a girl! that was true for my friend nancy : ]

I read in my Parenting magazine that if you conceived doing it missionary...its more than likely a girl...from behind it is a boy!! It was true for me. :-)
