I have very high morals, and am a christian. I was raised that rules are meant to keep order. So in today's society, people break rules everyday. What bothers me, though, is petty stuff. Like in my apt. complex, people don't park in their assigned spots. When you move in here, and sign your lease, you agree to only park in your designated spot, and yet, people want to park in mine because its closer to the building entrance. I have 3 kids ages 5 and under. I don't leave very often, but when I do, I have to get about 2 wks worth groceries, etc. So I have many things to carry in. (Incl. the kids.) I try not to be petty, but why can't everyone as adults just do what they're suppose to do???? How do I cope as a christian? As a moral person? Confrontation is a strong point for me (perhaps too strong!) and I already made one neighbor very mad without intending by asking them not to park in my spot next time. I was very kind and tactful, through IM and now they don't speak to me.

It really bothers me also. I can't say that I'm totally innocent of breaking rules, but I don't do it if I can help it.
I also hate all of the petty little rules that people break. Usually it seems like they don't care about anyone else and think that they deserve to inconvenience others.
I confront them when I have a chance. I try not to let it get to me when I can't. If I did it would be all that I thought about.

I think you should talk to your landlord, let him or her deal witht the people who park in others spots.

I think you also need to relax. We all do petty, stupid stuff, theres more to life than worrying over minor details.

I wouldn't waste a minute on people who are rude and don't follow the common rules. Report them to your landlord and let them deal with it.
