Probably they were pretty brutal they had those metal armours
suits.

i could only assume this question is sparked by the game diablo :) but yes they had very similar weapons... The race to find improvments in weaponry was a common presence in the middle ages and they went thru many unique designs... One similar can be sited in use by the blood queen herself, Elizabeth Bathory, who used a sort of Cat o' 9 tails that was actually like a claw with spikes at the end used to whip and tear the flesh on the back for torture... Would make an interesting way in defeating Andarial anyways :)

yes they were known as talons and they would hook on tho the armor of the knight along the wrist. there were some that would even hook to the back of his foot

They had mesh-like gloves with sharp metal spikes sticking out of them, not really a claw, but more effective.

yes, there is a great Museum in Rothenburg on the Tauber in Germany...there have all kind of weapons and torture instruments from medieval times...all is very well preserved.
