Take off your clothes & clean the house. Maybe put on some thigh highs & a garter. Show him what he is missing.

This is not a good sign. Do you have kids? If you do a lot of your decisions would involve their best interests. For example if he is a bum, would you like your son to model himslef after him? Would you like your daughter to marry the mirror image of him? But because I dont know if you have kids or not, I will not harp on that point.
Now, about you. There is absolutely nothing you can do to change the person you married. However you are all empowered to make changes about yourself. So you have a choice, you can either accept him just the way he is and negotiate some mild compromises or you can refuse to tolerate his behavior and look at other alternatives, such as separation. The most important point is that if you insist and get him to be completely different, ie. stop football and no more beer, he will resent you enormously and probably to such an extent that your marriage will suffer anyway. My point is without aqccepting him just the way he is, you will need to give up on the marriage, whether you separate or not. Remember you cannot change who he is, however you can ask for some comrpomise around his behavior. Ask if he is willing to reduce the beer, the amount of time in front of TV and if he would wear something else. GLUCK

You teach people how to treat you. Depending on your husbands ability and willingness to respond when you talk to him you need to negotiate something that works for both of you. I'm not sure what your actual problem is..the drinking, the boxers or the football. If he got dressed and drank and watched football would that be ok? Do you have kids? What do you want him to do instead? Gather your thoughts on all these things and then sit him down and say this isn't working for me so we need to figure something else out...hopefully he's the kind of guy that will pay attention...however, he would be a rare specimen if he did. If he won't you need to give him a taste of his own medicine and let him know how it feels to experience whatever it is that his behavior makes you feel. Men don't usually get much from talking, they just blow it off, experiencing it makes a better point, even to the most stubborn of men. Figure out what you want before you start and make your requests clear and specific, don't leave him room for interpretation because I guarantee he'll interpret it wrong, they always do.

um leave him alone. What do you want every minute of his life devoted to you? Let him enjoy himself . He works all week and that's what he does to relax. Get a hobby other than nagging your husband. Women! Ever think that maybe if you grabbed a brew and enjoyed the game it could be a good experience? What im saying is if you showed some intrest in an activity that he likes maybe he'll do the same for you will make the marrage better in the long run.

Assuming you don't like football or beer, find something else to do on the weekends out of the house. If it's really hurting your relationship you need to talk to him about it, but if he was doing that same thing when you were dating and when you married him just be sure to be pickier when selecting your next husband.

Did you marry Homer Simpson? No , seriously, get him a den , or a basement . And tell him to stay down, or in there to watch his TV and sit around half naked and drunk. in about 10 years he'll be fat and snoring on the couch too. Half naked as well. So train him now before it's too late and you really do have a Homer Simpson.

Put his beer outside. Pull the plug on the television set. Give him a reason to do something else.

let him relax, when he's watching football and drink beer is the best time for you to take his credit card out and go shopping. ;) lol.

Wait till the game is over and gently approach the subject and let him know how you feel. Men are not complex, they like honesty and they are not mind readers, so share your frustration with him when he's in a good mood.
