Since it is National Grandparents Day today September 10,2006, I was just wondering how many of you called and or went and saw your grandparents (if they are still alive) today?

Yes! I got to see my grandparents and took my children to see their grandparents as well! It's a great way to remember all they've done for us!

i didn't know cause I'm not from the U.S.A.
I'm from Bulgaria. We have a grandmother day here, in January, but it's more a day of the woman that helped young woman to give a birth in the past. This tradition is observe for about 1000 years. We're an very ancient nation.
Actually today I saw my grandparents and I'm always glad to meet them.

My grandparents are all dead but I do know it is today and am still waiting for my grandkids to call me and wish me a happy grandparents day..

Durn, and not one of my grandchildren, nor great grandchildren called or bothered to send a card. I can't wait until it's National Nine Year olds day. See of they get a card from me.
Have you noticed that grandkids never call unless they want something.?

Yes I've known for years...I usually honor my grandparents on mother's and father's day and my favorite....EVERYDAY.
