I use what ever i have on hand, utility knife,,flate head screaw driver, a steak knife,,any thing that will tear a hole in the paper is fine just becareful on the pressure you use..

That's easy. You take either a serated edge knife or a serated edge pizza cutter. You are just trying to score through the top layer of the wallpaper. Make sure you don't make grooves in the wallboard or you will have a mess when it comes to painting. There will be dimples in the wall.

I hope you don't hurt the walls behind the wallpaper with pizza cutters, serrated knives, screwdrivers, etc. I have used 30 grit sandpaper with success; once the paper is scored, it soaks up water pretty well then comes off.

there is a product called diff you mix it with hot water spray it on or soak with a sponge let it soak for 20 min use a putty knife peal off good luck

if you can start at the top you can get by without one..using utilty knife need to be careful not to cut to deep ...was all told a pizza cutter never tried it.
