yup Juventina I also read an article in the magazine I got. They predicted that 9 of the 23 players from this world cup would be there. It included Buffon, Amelia, Zambrotta, Barzagli, Nesta, Pirlo, Gattuso, De Rossi, and Gilardino

From the World Champion squad, I think Buffon, Gattuso, Zambrotta, De Rossi, Amelia, Barzagli, Gilardino, Pirlo, maybe someone from Nesta, Totti, Barone and Toni.
From the Under 21 Team the best candidates are Montolivo, Pelle`, Aquilani, Rosina, Giuseppe Rossi, Curci, Scurto, Potenza, Chiellini.
Then there are other players (few already in the National Team with Donadoni) like Cassano, Semioli, Delvecchio, Caracciolo, Bonazzoli, Bianchi.
In addition, at that time, I am sure there will be some other emerging player from the Championship.

Fabio Cannavaro for sure, Gianluigi Buffon, Alberto Gilardino, Gennaro Gattuso, Fabio Grosso, Alessandro Del Piero, Alessandro Nesta, Andrea Pirlo, Filippo Inzaghi, Luca Toni, Andrea Barzagli, Gianluca Zambrotta, Daniele De Rossi. Francesco Totti, he said that 90% he won't play in International game anymore. Marco Materazzi, I'm not sure about him.

I'm pretty sure Bufon, Toni, Gatuso, Pirlo and Gilardino for sure will still be around and strong. As much as breaks my heart to hear, I've heard that Totti is retiring from international. He's focusing on his beloved Roma (best team in the world -sorry Juve)

i think some of the players from 2006 will be on 2010..toni,grosso,amelia,pirlo,gattuso maybe..,lucarelli and other newer players.

Isn't Totti gonna retire or something? I'm not sure. I think Gattuso, Pirlo, Toni,Inzaghi,De Rossi,Zambrotta, heck they're all good.
They're all so different, there's something promising for each and everyone of them.
