I used to when I was younger, but I don't anymore. Now I see that as childish. But if someone is staring then it would bother me.

Not at all. I'm 21 and have been going to the nude beach for the past 4 years. I've probably been there over 100 times and been seen by hundreds of thousands of people. Believe me, it's no big deal to be seen naked.

There are two types of bodies - male or female - and we've all got one and, hopefully, seen the other. I can't see what all of the fuss is about simple bare skin.

Obviously, nudity isn't appropriate in certain places or situations. I wouldn't go to class or church naked, nor would I wander around naked in front of my parents or relatives. But with friends (or even alone) at the beach, pool, hot tub...there's absolutely nothing inappropriate about being naked.

When you really think about it objectively, we all hate getting caught in the rain and walking around in wet clothes, but yet we buy "special" clothes to wear at a beach or pool, for the express purpose of getting them wet and then wearing them for the rest of the day! What's up with that?

Here in NY where I live it's legal for girls to be topless anyplace a guy can be, so there are more girls starting to enjoy even the regular prude (clothed) beaches with bare boobs. It's a start, and long overdue.

As for staring, it happens...it's part of being naked around other people. Guys stare at us even when we're not naked, so you can imagine that they'll be looking even more when we are. You get used to it after awhile, and as long as it's not offensive or really intrusive, they can look all they want. Hey...we're looking at their naked bodies too!

If you get a chance, check out a nude beach either alone or with friends who are OK with nudity...you'll love it!

Bare hugs...

Just the opposite for me. When I was younger and had a better body and build, I craved being naked and seen naked. Even went a couple times to the local nude beach here in Southern California.
But now as I have gotten older and as things have started to sag and the forces of gravity have shifted (!), I want to keep as many clothes on as possible.

You go girl

You have total control over who sees you naked and when. Obviously there are some places where it is inappropriate to be nude, like school, but other than that it should be up to you.
I am 16. I don't like people outside my family seeing me nude. But I don't care if people see me topless. I swim topless in my pool and my friends pool. Most of my friends (guys and girls) have seen me topless.
I don't think it is childish to be modest. I would never criticise anyone for being more modest than me. But I choose who sees me, when and how much.
And it should bother you if someone stares at you. We live in a world where there are lots of bad people. Be careful.

Being naked in front of others is no big deal unless you want it to be. I've been naked at nude beaches, resorts in front of clothed friends, neighbors, and strangers. I figure what's under my clothes is same as 50% of the population and we have all seen what the other 50% have. We may all look slightly different naked but have been given one or the other set of equipment. If it's in an appropriate setting I prefer to be nude. Sometimes it's even fun being naked in areas when nudity isn't the norm, but that's just me.

No. I go out to the mailbox naked which on near my front porch. I get a thrill out of the thought of someone spying me nude. It makes me so horny. I am 51 and in pretty good shape. I love to go out late at night into my backyard and strip and set on my swing and masturbate under the stars. I have enough bushes that the immediate neighbors really can t see me but I am sure if some of my other neighbors looked out their windows at the right time, they could see me in all of my glory. I love love love it! I would spend most of my life being naked but I am married with kids and have to be careful as to not ruin things for my family or embarrass them. I loved to be watched on on web cam too. I wish I could find a masturbation buddy on Skype (female) for that is a huge thrill for me to be watch naked and masturbating for her and her pleasuring herself to me, as well. I may be a bit off the whole nude subject but I find freedom in this and also a huge release. I don t wear anything but shorts nearly all the time. No shirt in the Spring, Summer and Fall. My neighbors are probably used to it. Again, I don t really care if someone sees me naked if it wasn t for the fact of my family.

No, I don't care at all, in appropriate circumstances (changing room, sauna...).
That kind of prudishness is very much a British & American hang-up. Attitudes and behaviour in most of Europe (e.g. the way people are at ease in their skin in public showers or changing rooms) are much more relaxed.
You're absolutely right about it being childish.

I don't go nude in front of others because people tend to get pissed off (really) if I do. But alone. YA! I wish though.

Yes! I'm going on camp and dreading an open shower block. For my boyfriend I don't mind - for others no way is anyone going to see me!
