I want to work from home. I have been looking at some leads I was given, but all of them require me to pay the company in order for me to work. I don't want to do that...it seems like a scam to me.

I am interested in Medical Billing, Data Entry, Medical Transcription...

I have a certificate in Medical Billing and Reception from a community college if that is helpful.

Any GOOD leads or suggestions are very much appreciated. Thank you!

I work from home and love what I do. I am actually a consultant for two companies. I will tell you about both of them. First, I am a consultant for Passion Parties. I love what I do and the company is very legit. I searched for a long time before going with this company and as a mom, I am so glad that I did. This is a company that can take you so far if you have a little bit of extra spending $$$ at home ($100 to start up). It's well worth it though! Here is the website for this:

Second, I am a consultant for Cupcake Candles. This is a newer company and so far, I have been very satisfied with it. There is NO START UP FEE, no monthly minimum, you can sell where you want, to whom you want (yes, even on eBay) and if you don't sell anything, it doesn't matter cause you haven't invested a dime. You get a website the minute you sign up and get full support. Here is this website http://www.sweetcupcakecandles.com/rachaelme
You need to be at least 18 and live in the US or Canada for both

Many work from home schemes are scams… or poorly paid… repetitive… etc!! Sadly also: most legitimate work from home schemes do cost an initial outlay... but then that’s a good incentive to get up and work... You get nothing for nothing these days!!

Here is a site where the information is free, wont even cost you a stamp… it is with a 100 year old PLC… ‘All’ statements made can be verified… and it would also be ‘YOUR’ own business!! You will get out of it…. What you are willing to put in!!

Surprisingly, alot of work at home jobs are not scams. I know a few people who work from home and they say it is ok. Just gets a little boring after awhile. Your best bet is to do some research on the company, especially if you know anyone who works for the company you are interested in. There are advantages to certain companies. Some pay per hour while some pay per minute while you are on a call. So it definately helps to do your research.

Paying up front is not always a scam. If you are working with a company like I am and paying a fee, you are actually buying a "frnachise" so to speak. If you bought a McDonalds, you would have to pay money. It is the same idea. I paid $49 to become an independent associate, just like an insurance agent would have to pay statefarm to become an associate. I knew my company was ligit because some states require a license and the company is traded on the new york stock exchange. You just have to make sure someone knows something abou the company besides trying to get you to join so they can make more money!

Are you good at communicating with people? Would they listen to what you have to say about herbal remedies for handling stress and emotional problems in daily life?
If you think so, this may be just the opportunity for you.
You would not be required to sell anything. Neither would you have to invest any money.
You would have to put across an idea convincingly and build up a client base, in your neighbourhood, or on the Net, or both.
You can check with me for details.

I'm a firm believer in starting your own web business. I suggest you look at eBay for turnkey web business. Then search the listings to see if you find one that will work for you. My wife and I learned a lot from mycreditadvise.com which helped us start our own on line business. You should have multiple streams of income!
Good Luck
