Greed. It is the reason behind most of the worlds problems. Any injustice in the world can be traced back to the people who have the money and want to control the world. These some people are the ones who are globalists and want a one world government. They also believe that humans are a virus on the world and that they should play God.

the most important problem is global warming. is isnt a real important threat right now but if we dont do some thing about it right now it will be a big problem that cannot be fixed. other countries are working on it but the USA refused to help. (when i say USA i mean Bush because i am sure the good american people would help) The US holds 5% of the world population but produces more than 25% of the world polution, and Bush has the nerve to reject the Kyoto treaty to reduce emissions when 141 other nations agreeded to it. Without the US help Global Warming will become a major problem.

This is not just a "today" problem, but one which will continue to plague us forever.
Availability of the necessities of life, clean water, food, medicine, shelter, energy and the safe removal of organic waste by sewerage or other means are not currently being addressed satisfactorily to supply the entire world population even at life sustaining levels. Shortfalls of some or all of the above are the cause of unfortunate and tragicly pointless human suffering and unreasonable loss of life.
It is the duty of mankind to identify, address and solve the problems of distribution and apportionment of these goods and services at a decidedly reasonable and reliability sustainable standard... and then to make it happen for all of the world's people.
Failure to act on this, both now and in the future, will only bring a continuation of needless human tragedy and the resultant festering of social and political unrest.
It is my beliefe that the ultimate role of mankind is first to define utopia and then to take it to task, achieve it and sustain it for the betterment and good of all.

People......All the above answers are right on the mark . But who causes theses problems ? We do . It has got so out of hand we can't stop it . We kill each other in the name of our Gods . We treat each other with contempt . We wreak havoc on the environment . The poor don't have a clue how to get ahead . The rich make sure they don't find out . Babies are having babies . We as a race are destroying our self's . Problem ?

i think the most dangerous problem - the moslem war against the west culture.
if the moslem will win - all the other problems will in vein.
when the house is burning - don't ask what will be with the bills, the photos, the chairs etc.
you have to save the house - and just after that to solve the other problems.
if we shall not live any more as human people - what is the importance of its quality???!!!

What we ought to instruct is to ask to appreciate social bindings and human values especially to the imminent era. different valuable issues could persist with immediately.

Over population, eliminate some of the population and some of the other problems mentioned will go away as well.

I would have to say religious fanaticism. Most religions teach tolerance. If this practice was more closely followed, maybe we as a people could learn to get along with each other.

Acceptance of people of other cultures, religions, race, sexual orientation, than their own.
I feel as soon as the human race becomes blind to all these differences, we could actually experience world peace.
