My first car was a 1974 mustang 2 hatchback. Thankfully the car was turned into razor blades long ago.

HA aha ha!

I liked that other guys answer about what eventually happened to his 1974 Mustang II as I can understand where he is coming from!

My very first car that was my own was a 1968 Chevy Impala 4 door sport hardtop with a 307 V8 and a two speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The AC did not work and it had the original AM only radio which I just lived with somehow!

I bought it in the late Eighties from the original owner who was a Pastor at a church for 150 dollars. It ran good but the car had sat for almost ten years and the tires were old and dry rotted. The paint was white, but all badly stained up with a rusty looking film over the entire car from sitting under a carport that was rusted, so I cleaned it with Ajax cleanser out of frustration and the car actually looked rather decent after that!

The inside was all vinyl and black color with a bench seat. The inside was in decent original condition, and I cleaned and Armour-all up the inside to the point that the seats were kinda slippery, so much so that I used to trick my Girlfriend and make her slide across the seat by turning fast around a corner and she would slide against me and we would alway have a good laugh!!! (Hey, I know it was rather juvenile and a bit unsafe, but I was 16 and that was a long while ago since I am 30 now!)

I drove that car for about a year and a half, and even my older brother would drive it around as a second car until I sold it after the transmission started slipping at a stop light and then it would work fine on the highway! Even still, I sold it to some guys who knew about that car's problems for 600 dollars, making a small profit!

My first car was a 1973 VW Bug with a sunroof. I bought it in 1986 and I never restored it (big frown). I sold it to a junkyard for $200 in 1990.

I now have a 1992 Taurus SHO with a 5 speed manual transmission and a 1997 Taurus SHO with a 32 valve V8.

My next car will probably be used to but will not be a Ford unless this new Boeing guy that just took over can improve the quality. However, like the 2 cars I own now they will be 4 doors that go fast (relatively speaking).

1967 Chevrolet Camaro. No, I don't have it. After a long time, the thing fell apart even though I babied it. After that, I got 1976 Chevy Impala and I kept that until it died. It was 22 years old. I hated to see that one go. I remember buying a love seat and I put that piece of furniture in the trunk and there was room to spare. Right now, I get around on my Harley Davidson. I got a sidecar.

My first car was a 1972 4-Door Toyota Corolla, black top. It was
light yellow, always went out of alignment, but it took me where I needed to go! Don't have it anymore, but still have the memories of the fun trips I took with my friends.

My first was a brand new Toyota Corona in 1968, paid $1995 cash! It went to car heaven many years ago.
