If you are talking about a machine to purchase I have the Hoover twin V and it is awesome , if you are talking about solution for stains etc. Get FOLEX it will take anything and everything out of carpets and rugs, and if you want a professional company the best is Chem Dri carpet aqnd upholstery cleaners,

There is a solution called "Awesome" you can get at Family Dollar or maybe even Dollar General for $1, it used to be advertised on TV & I guess didn't do well, but it works GREAT for everything...bathroom, countertop, carpet....is yellow in color, in spray bottle with red writing....and if you don't like it, you are only losing $1!!

spray mean green on the stain and scrub it real good. use this to spot clean only. if you are using a machine you should get the water as hot as possible. that is the key to effective carpet cleaning
