am not medically trained so am not a qualified expert on this subject - am thinking out loud here. i would wait until at least the first day of your missed period, so give it another week. the hormones will be to weak to detect this early so even if you do turn out to be pregnant a test done now will probably give a negative result so it will just be a waste of a testing kit really.

If you did become pregnant around February 4, the earliest that a pregnancy test will show a positive result would be 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your next period. You period is due on February 16. If you do not get your period by February 23, take a pregnancy testl. After fertilization occurs, the fertilized ovum travels back through the fallopian tubes to the uterus where is implants into the endometrium. This trip takes 8 days. The pregnancy could cause you to become dizzy or weak. Implantation sometimes is accompanied with some spotting, buy you usually are not aware of implantation;

I am in the same boat, and two out of two tests have come back negative,
but my friend, she took three test a while ago, and they were negative,the hormone did not show up on an hpt, until she was three weeks late, so i think the urine test is not as reliable as it claims to be, unless you are wayyy late, get a doctors appointment and just ask for a blood test!

It's worth a try. Get one that is a double pack, just in case it's too early, then you can repeat the test in a couple of days. And even though it tells you that you don't have to use your first urine of the morning, do it anyway. It will have the higest concentration of hormones that tells the test you are pregnant. Are you trying to get pregnant? Good Luck!

I had a test go positive a week after, but it might not show up as positive even if you are becuase you might not have enough hormones. You could take a "practice" one, but remember that 1 in 3 pregnancies are miscarried in the first week or 2, usually before the woman's even late. maybe you should be patient - it'll build character for parenting!

Yeah im sure you would beable to tell right. I would go out and buy a pregnancy test and try it. Or you could wait and see if you get your period and if you dont then take a HPT.

Good Luck
