You're talking about autocomplete. It would've helped if you told me what browser you were using ie: internet explorer or firefox. I'll assume you have internet explorer.
First to delete all your history and saved searches, download and run this. It will delete all of that crap. http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php?act=dscript&CODE=showdetails&f_id=15
Don't worry all the files it cleans are just temporary files that you 100% don't need.
Next to turn off autocomplete open your internet explorer page and at the top go to "tools" , select "internet options" from the drop down menu, select the "content" tab, click the "auto complete" button, uncheck all the boxes, clear all forms, then hit ok.
10 points whenever you get around to it = )
Oh and the 2nd best answer the one humbleone gave doesn't even get rid of half of your history.

Well my husband of 35 years is a computer geek and I would say that his performance in bed gets an A+ from me but you can't go around lumping people together in a category. If you find that you like computer geeks and they satisfy you sexually, then why be afraid for your future. It seems to me like you are batting 100.

Try this!
Clear History in IEXplr:
Try this,
Left click on Tools
Left click on Internet Options
Left click on Delete Cookies, Delete Files, and Clear History...
If you want to avoid all of this try,
http://www.mozilla.com
and setup Firefox to remove all this stuff when it closes!
Have fun but be safe.
I have seen the light of 1000 stars,
but none so bright as the light within you!

I don't know what browser you are using but this works with Internet Explorer.
* To clear history of sites you have visited on Internet Explorer 6 address bar, click Tools, Internet Options, under General tab click Clear History, you can also set the number of days to keep pages in history, click Apply and then click OK. You may also want to click the Content tab and click Auto Complete and un-check Auto Complete.
* If you have Internet Explorer 7, go to Tools, Internet Options, General tab, under Browsing history you have the option to delete everything all at once with just one click, click Delete, a menu will pop up, click Delete all to clear everything, or choose what you want to delete, to stop saving history, under Browsing history click Settings and under History set Days to keep pages in history to 0, click OK.
