I'd give you a thousand to one odds that the person who asked that question is a democrat.

Does it matter who asks it? Isnt it an interesting question, even if you dont agree with the idea?

It seems to me that american politics has got to a state where people dont make coherent arguments anymore... they just say "You're a republican/democrat, so you're always wrong". Is this a good way to advance your country?

Perhaps a republican voter asked the question because they dont know much about psychology and were always curious. Perhaps a democrat voter asked it becuase they're questioning something they always took for granted. Either way, someone asked a question... isn't that what this site is about?

(maybe it was asked by an Australian...)

(And I'm not answering the original question because I dont know enough about the topic to give an intelligent response)

Sound like typical liberal babble. However when people of all political leanings do something wrong ( and they are caught) all types of defenses come out of the wood work. I think it sounds like all of the other cop outs these days. You know Mommy and Daddy didn't give me enough attention and so on. Anything besides admitting you are just plain guilty.

Anyone trying to come up with reasons to NOT hold someone accountable for their actions would make me suspect they are liberals, but I didn't see any blatantly false assumptions characteristic of a liberal post.

I mean really, what difference does it make if this person is a liberal or a conservative??? It's their opinion, aren't they entitled to it?
