They don't even play the same position..
Ben Gordon understand the game better now.. But he's not in his prime yet.. Ben Gordon can be compared to Michael Redd, Gilbert Arenas or Ray Allen.. By their ability to be a clutch shooter.
As for Chris Paul, Come on! Give the kid a break.. He was just coming of from his rookie season.. I can tell you that he would be better. And he can be compared to Steve Nash or Jason Kidd for being a true Point Guard..
Chris Paul is such a good play maker and unselfish
Ben Gordon is such a clutch shooter, A true Shooting Guard

Chris Paul. He is a natural point guard and is probably the best pure point guard in the NBA right now. He is a solid leader and an all around player. Ben Gordon is also very good but still somewhat inconsistent.

I think Ben Gordon is the better player right now because he is very good at adapting to the game and he is one of the top clutch shooters in the league. Give Chris Paul another year or two and he'll probably be the better player.

Hypothetically, you can just put chris paul on any below 0.500 NBA team right now, and he can turn things around. I can't say the same with Ben Gordon, although he is still a good player.

chris paul, because he is a playmaker, but can score too. ben gordon isn't really as much of a playmaker, and is more of a perimeter player. i also think chris paul is better because he can control the game and change the tempo to keep opponents unbalanced. ben gordon is more of just a catch and shoot guy that goes well with a half court game.

You can't compare them because they play different positions. Given a choice though, I'd take Chris Paul. There's tons of shooting guards in the NBA, and not as many guys who can play the point well.

Paul is a better PG and Gordon is a better SG. Cant compare both when they are different positions.
