It was merely a coincidence.
Most sting-rays merely just go swim away from you %99 of the time. Steve probably knew this and decided there was not much of a risk filming.
It's like getting struck by lightning or winning the lottery, you don't really see it coming.

Why do you have to be such a punk?Whatever you think about what he did for a living,he wasn't doing anything illegal or immoral or hurting anybody else in his pursuit of his living or for a good time.Thank about that.And,while you're at it,just think before you say something stupid that shows the entire world how little class you have.

Ya im pretty sure if he's playing with deadly crocs and stuff, then his insurance was probably up for it, unless he is really stupid. I dont think he was expecting it. He was stung anyways, the stingray wasn't deadly, is just stung him on the chest a little bit, but it happened very fast.
