If the machine you're using has a keylogger or spy program installed there's nothing you can do to stop it recording your keystrokes or taking screen snapshots.

I've used these products and they are very effective. Keyloggers read the keyboard buffer so just the act of typing sends the characters to a file. Other programs take a complete snapshot of the screen at timed intervals, this one obviously wouldn't copy a password because they're displayed as asterisks but the point is if the machine is being monitored by that type of software there's nothing you can do about it.

If it's not your PC, there's NO 100% way (to see if keyloggers are present) if you don't have administrator rights!
You need a rootkit revealer (http://www.sysinternals.com) and probably other software (Ewido / Antivirus / AdAware) to see if a keylogger could be present. However, if you don't have administrator rights, you most probably can't run or configure that software (yourself) correctly.

Someone wrote: "...when you are done using the computer, Reboot it, this will erase any data entered on their by you, it's on a network, the networks are set to Reset on Reboot"
Not all networks do reset the public computers completely! Also, some person can add an keylogger adapter between keyboard cable and PC-connector, or even a keyboard with build in keylogger can be used by some criminal. If harddisks are reset or not, that doesn't help one bit: the keylogger keyboard just remembers any used keys, and they can be read with a remote program (browser) or with some local software. That software doesn't have to be installed in advance, the keyboard itself remembers all the used keys.
These special hardware keyloggers probably aren't detectable by any software. So even if a guy gives you a new keyboard and you use it, it can be a Trojan Horse. Everybody very easily can order such a keyboard over the internet.

You cannot bypass a keylogger. If it's a software keylogger, you need admin permission on the box to uninstall it. If it's a hardware keylogger, you need to physically remove it.

If you don't trust the machine, you just have to bring your own (perhaps a laptop). That solves the keylogger problem, although (of course) that doesn't make you perfectly safe.

You don't have to, when you are at a public place like a library, then just do not check the box, "remember me", "remember password" etc. And when you are done using the computer, Reboot it, this will erase any data entered on their by you, it's on a network, the networks are set to Reset on Reboot. All Public Domains use this feature, this way it does not bog the server's down with alot of junk. Good Luck

this isn't any longer inquiring for a password. What this is telling you is that it could no longer detect a working gadget (e.g. living house windows XP, living house windows Vista,...and so on.) on the specific partition (e.g. cd force, no longer user-friendly force,...and so on.). once you start up a working laptop or computing device, a small software referred to as the "BIOS" will boot up the computing device. The BIOS additionally tells the computing device the place to look for the working gadget. many times, the BIOS is set to look for the working first on the cd force. as an occasion, once you opt to place in living house windows Vista on a working laptop or computing device which already has an working gadget put in, you place the living house windows Vista installation disc interior the cd force and it will deploy Vista. Failing to stumble on an working gadget interior the cd force, it is going to many times seem for one on the no longer user-friendly force. With few exceptions, the working gadget must be already put in on the no longer user-friendly force. So, there are 2 skill explanation why your computing device is imparting you with that blunders message. One, you haven't any longer any working gadget put in on your no longer user-friendly force. 2, your BIOS isn't setup wisely and is finding for the working gadget interior the incorrect place or incorrect order.
