So, i really want a sweet sixteen but i dont think my parents have that much money in order to throw a big one...i just want a nice party with friends and family along with a dj or w/e...but i dont know of a way i can do this without spending more than 1000..possibly more than 600 dollars...i dont know..we dont have that much money and i dont want to take a lot away from wut we have so i need sum ideas..can sum1 throw ideas at me?..idbe really thankful...please be nice...i mean, dont you think turning 16 is a really big day of a girl's life?...any ideas? whoever gives me thebest answer will most def. get a 5 star and 10 points along with a complete welcome if they ever need to ask me anything at all...(im very good at giving advice and plan on being a counselor or psycologist sum day)...thanks every1 for even taking the time to read this!

I honestly did absolutely nothing for my 16th birthday and i was OK with that. If you don't have that much money and you still wish to do something special, why don't you and your closest friends go to the mall or the movies. As long as you are with your friends,you will always have fun. Have a sweet sixteen!!!!

My best friend and mom planned a surprise party for me at school with my friends and I had a party all ready planned at home with my friends so I ended up having two parties it was kind of cool so you have to decide what you want to do the best rent a small room and your favorite restaurant or have a bowling party do what ever you like all go to the movies and then pizza or roller skate it is your day do what ever makes you happy have a costume party you all could get your favorite Halloween costume and wear it and have a prize for the best costume that I think would be cool I have always wanted a masquerade party that would be really fun rent a club house and have it like my parents live in a trailer park and they have a club house and a pool so it is really what ever is exciting for you it is your big day make it your own that is why it is your day your party!!! You decide!!! I think that you just might make every one want a party like that if you have one you might just start a new trend in your school!!!! even make the really popular girls jealous and it would not take much money to do that you would need one costume and then just watch the spending on the party stuff or have a luau a Hawaii theme and have fancy looking glasses and punch but you still don't need that much money if you do most of the work your self or the family!!!! Buy the stuff at cheaper place budget hunting is not hard the best punch I think is white grape juice and Vernors mixed half and half!!!!

yeah it doesn't have to cost a lot. if you can throw it at your house... or if you know anyone that has a nice house with a lot of room or a pool maybe then ask them if they would lend it to you for a party.. just get some decor from a party store (it doesn't even have to be too fancy, cuz who really is gonna care that much about the decorations)
and then the food isn't gonna cost a lot.
or if you don't want a party at a house then the only other things i can think of are the mall (go shopping with your friends and have fun) or something like skate world (but maybe 16 is too old for a party there)
so the most important thing is just that your friends are there and you're having fun.

ok if u have a friend that has a big backyard that can eliminate havbing to rent out a place to throw it at ... and u can get a dj but make sure they play all the good songs... u should have ur famile make the food so u dont have to get it catered...... no whatever the theme is of your party u should decorate it ocording to that theme ..... and like go to micheals and pick up sumj stuff to maker ur invitations like ribbons, cards, maby lace ... whatever your into .. well i hope this was a helpfull way to save money

You really dont need to have a big party. Go out with your friends and have a good time. Its a waste of money, watch My Super Sweet Sixteen and then ask yourself if you really want one.

If u dont dont wanna have a party at your house then u can always go to a park and have decorations and music like a stereo and burn a CD with aw some songs on it that you like invite family and friends and just have a good time!

you know this is best part of age sixteen sweet sixteen who ever dont like every one like it .This is natural pelple love nature beauty and the money always is the things is in demand because whith this we can full fill our dreams and friends we can get together for parties whethere it is dj or w/e what do you like the matierialism is the nice one only if we need it to work and keep our freinds happy .

how much time do you have to get the money? what you need to do is figure out a cheap way to make money. it may involve more work than you'd want to do, but you can do a lot of baby sitting, lawn mowing, snow shovling, stuff like that. dog walking . . .
the more time you have, the money you can raise. you should ask friends and family if they have any ideas as well, they might have better ideas

you coan just throw on ein your backyard, or even in your living room. no one will really mind. to decorate go to a party store adn buy balloons and stuff to design your party place. you can even bake your own party treats if you dont have the money to buy it. You can ask around and see if theres a family member or friend that can D.J., if not just hire one.
