all my friends act like they like my brother more then they like me and they come over and hang out with him when they are my friends...i feel like i cant go out and hang out with them when they are at my house, but are hanging out with my brother....i feel like i cant even live and when i try to go out and fit in i get put in akward situations and it brings a whole different side to me that i dont like. it really is hard to do, im in his shadow and everyone looks at me like im little him... how can i just live in peace with him?

you know what? this is your brother he will always be your brother and friend to you as you guys get older.friends come and go.make new friends.don't ever let friends come in between your brotherhood.so what if they like him more there are other ppl out there.don't live for your friends live for yourself.enjoy life.

You have to take your own focus off your brother. When you stop caring about who people are paying attention to, you will be able to be yourself and feel more comfortable. You are part of that group of friends and so is your brother. Your brother is you family and hopefully he is not alienating you but I'm sure that the bottom line is that he cares about you. Concerning yourself with what other people think and comparing yourself to others perpetuates itself and keeps you stuck feeling unhappy and depressed when the situation doesn't go your way. This won't let you be who you are. The key is not to concern yourself with these things. Be yourself and never sacrifice your self respect to keep friends.

Go make some friends that don't know your brother. The people who only come over to your house to see him aren't really your friends.

Talk to your brother about this, maybe the attention he is getting is unwanted and maybe he even feels badly about stealing your friends. And if your friends are comming over to hang with your brother they're not even your friends try looking for people who want to be your friend for who you are! not who your related too!

dont act like your brother act completely different and tell ur brother and friends how you feel. make sure your friends are ur friends and not using you to get close to ur brother.

you can't get mad at him, just talk to him.... if your friends act like they like him more than, maybe they think he's hot, or jut an't a good friend at all, maybe their using you to get close to him, there is nothing about how can you live, just do something about it, don't try to fit in, cause that crazy, just be yourself, there's alot of people out there looking for a friend,,,,,good luck

You could invite your friends when he is not home or tell your brother to bud out or "if you can't beat them, join them"
