My g/f and I are looking for long term rentals in St. Thomas USVI.Can some1 give me some places to look?

Realtors are no help, they are pushing us to buy a house and not interested in finding us a place to rent. The local newspaper doesnt offer much. We need to have 2 br. possibly 2 baths. We will pay up to 1200 per month. And take 2 dogs

Call Bolongo bay and ask them for help. You will probably have to pay more. Phone [phone] they have some off season rentals long term I think they are not advertising online.
Finding anything for that $$ you are likely to find a couple rooms over a bar for that downtown and they won't let you take your dogs. We have lived there. What I would do is send one person ahead for a couple days to scout for rent signs alone THEN use those contacts. The place to go in person is the college, just go in and say you are starting there next year and need referals for housing.

Have you tried placing an ad in the local papers for what you are looking for? I would also check out supermarket bulletin boards and other such places to see if anything is posted. I don't know if these places include the Virgin Islands but you can try. Good Luck!

The best advice I have for you is to keep an eye on the classified section of our online newspaper. Also, the Island Trader is a weekly publication that usually lists more properties for rent. Check out the links in my source.

to add to Hector's recommendation...also try www.stthomassource.com on line.....$1200 a month for a two bedroom in a decent area is going to be tough to find....and with two dogs even tougher.......I'd second the motion to send someone ahead for a week to try and line something up........hint: ask at the 3 local veterinarians.......dog friendly people to start, you know
