I gotta admit, Reema does lack that ring one might look for in a name. My mother has always despised hers also, it's Rena, so she uses her middle name, Pauline. And her sister was named Irma. She also uses her middle name, Jean. Both of them were named for former girlfriends of their father, which prompted my grandmother to come up with some less than flattering names for him.

It's different and I would ask my parents if it has a special meaning. If you still hate it when you get legal age, you can have it changed legally to some thing you like.

Ask them why they chose it .
You can always change it.. but it does cost money to do that.
Come up w/ a nickname and use that all the time.

It seems okay to me. When you get 18,change it and make it your middle name or erase it all together.
