...and don't say it's because more people own PSP, because sales say otherwise.

I repeat:
Look at the sales. Which system is winning?

PSP can do everything but play a decent video game, which is the main reason people buy VIDEO GAME SYSTEMS!!!!! I don't need Swiss Army Handheld that, might I add, doesn't work properly.

Having had both systems, I'll say the reason I traded in my PSP is because the things never work. I had two; one had dead pixels, the other didn't. I purchased seven games total for the system, and had the systems freeze, shut down, or restart randomly during gameplay. I never hacked them, got all the firmware updates, and they never had ANY damage (no falls, shocks, or anything more than the most tender play while sitting down.) I finally traded them in because the systems just plain did not work. Now, forget the awful battery life on the PSP (1/5 of the DS time)....forget the awful selection of games (only two or three decent titles, all of which worked in spite of the control setup not because of it.) Forget the load times, which could easily take a minute or more to load a zone you might be in only for a few minutes. Forget the terrible, terrible control scheme that is too heavy for children and too awkward for most adults....and ask yourself why anyone would want to spend $250.00 for a portable video game system that doesn't run video games well? I mean, even Sony pidgeonholed the system, releasing five to ten overpriced movies to every game they released on the system. It was not a happy experience as a consumer.

I had a DS and a PSP, and I have to say that the versatility of the PSP really alowed me to do pretty much anything I wanted with it, homebrew, not matter what Sony does it hasn't stoped anyone really, music, movies, the battery life kinda sucked, so I paid 20 bucks to get a car charger, and have ran out of battery when I needed it a total of one time, the DS it had some good games, but nothing that I really wanted at the time, and trust me I felt pretty damn dumn screaming to a pixelated dog while waiting in line to the theatre

Cause the DS is like a brick. No matter how many times you throw it about it'll be hard to crack.

Is there anything really to complain about with the DS? I'd say the Pictochat is a problem, so there's a complain for you. Plus, the Wifi isnt as good as I thought it would be, yet it seems to satisfy a lot of people anyway. Complains are pushed aside because Mario'll beat you up if you insult him.

Because DS doesn't have to be upgraded or downgraded using homebrew software. Actually, it doesn't get upgraded at all. So there is no risk like the PSP. Also that the PSP is very fragile like an Ipod Nano. DS is very strong. Also because its programming is super stable, unlike PSP (I think)

[first: everyone is already aware of the fact that DS sales have obliterated the PSP sales numbers - it almost looks like no one buys PSPs]

i have no complaints against the DS because... well..

WAIT!

i DO have one complaint!

it feels so awkward to hold it like a regular controller like you need to in some games (i'm looking at YOU, mario:partners in time!)

you hold the DS so the directional pad is under your left hand like normal... but it feels weird to have the buttons under your right hand. i guess because it's flat.

they need to release some wings so i can hold it!

that's my complaint!

perhaps the PSP is a lot more fragile and can do a whole lot more.

i dont understand how anyone would choose a DS over a PSP...PSPs ROCK

Because psps can do so many different things, and the ds can barely do anything.
