There are obviously busy periods and slow periods on Yahoo! Answers. When do you think the busy periods are???
Also, where are you right now....the USA and UK both pick up this portal

I notice between 7 and 10 at night when people are out of work.

Personally, I find between 8 and 10 pm (Central Time). Weekends are steady. You're also more likely to get a violation during the slow periods ;-) I'm in the US (Texas).

There are certain categories Yahoo Answerers throng such as Dating, Polls & Survey, Wordplay, Trivia, men & women.
Look at the response trend. When you're sure, members are there in large numbers ready to answer all questions, put up your easy-to-answer without any thinking questions.
Members would respond to get their couple of points. They would prefer questions without any specific answers so that all their answers would merit for 2 points & nothing more.

I find it really busy here after 9pm on week nights. I am in the US, in Maine.
