wouldn't it be easier if Chuck E. Cheese just used regular quarters or a swipe card payment instead of making their own coins? and why do they always stamp our hands when people come in, and check them when we come out? i really want to know!

I wish Chuck E. Cheese would take quarters or let us swipe a card!!! Thankfully, my children are "outgrowing" Chuck E. Cheese. The kids always brought home Chuck E. Cheese tokens that they didn't use that they wanted to save for next time. I'm sure Chuck E. Cheese knows not all of the tokens get used and it's profitable for them. However, I totally agree that quarters and cards should be accepted. Maybe someday soon.

As far as the hand stamp, it's a safety precaution. It makes sure that the same number of people leave together that came in together. You don't want parents leaving kids behind and even worse, you don't want anyone picking up children at Chuck E. Cheese and running off with them. Would Chuck E. Cheese be a gold mine for a child predator??? I'm sure the hand stamp is not perfect, but I'm sure it's a deterrent.

Good Luck and have fun at Chuck E. Cheese!!!

Yes, definetly. It probably costs Chuck E. Cheeses millions to produce their own "money". If they used U.S. quarters, they would be better off, and making more money. It's a hastle to convert cash or quarters to tokens. And it waste valuable playing time. It kind of stinks. The reason they stamp your hand is to make sure you didn't sneak in. But what's the point? It's free to go in, right? It's an interesting, but POINTLESS process. It doesn't make sense. They waste money on stamping people's hands and making their own coins. So basically, they're losing money to the economy and wasting everyone's time. And they also make bad prices on their merchandise. 100, 000 tokens for an iPod or something. It's way, way, way more cheaper to buy it at the store.

yes, it'd be easier, but they'd make less money, and they wouldn't be able to give you the deals they give you, like 10 tokens per $2. They wouldn't give you 10 quarters for $2! You'd just walk out!
The stamping of the hands is so people don't walk out with other people's kids. The kid and the parent have to have the same stamp. Saves my kids from child molestors. I like it.

They stamp people's hand for a safety issue. Each group of people that go into the palce gets a certin number. If the number on the child'd hand is not the same as the adult, the child is not allowed to leave. This is a preventive way to avoid child kidnappings.

We do a Chuckee Cheese variety of place, this is slightly extra geared to older childrens, each few months or so, on the subject of the comparable as you. childrens are 8,9,13. they have good deals, like purchase a pizza and soda (we'd choose dinner besides), and get 40 money in tokens valid for week nights. this is actual very much. We use it for good checklist enjoying cards, so confident approximately 4 cases each year.

If you they just used regular quarters they wouldn't get as much of your money. By selling you tokens they guarantee that they get the entire dollar. They stamp your hand as a security measure to help keep track of kids.

they make coins to get money and they stamp your hand so if there are little kids they can make sure that they leave with the right group and aren't being abducted

1 - yes it proably would be easier.
2- they do this so when smaller kids are leaving they try to insure that they are leaving with the right family and hopefully minimizing the chance of a child getting abducted.

the stamp is a terrorist thing and a child abduction thing.... the coins are even simpler... you can only spend those coins at C.C. quarters and credit cards are accepted everywhere
