Every longitude is seperated from another longitude by a space of four minutes so using the time speed distance formula we can measure the distance accurately.

Longitude measures your distance in degrees east/west from the prime meridian. The distance between degrees of longitude depend on your latitude, i.e., how far from the equator you are.

It all depends how far you want to go? Like between California and texas. Well you have you car Odometer. If't a short distance, you have a bycicle odometer.
