There is a Tinactin for atheletes foot "Tinactin AF" and one for jock itch. The ingredients are slightly different because the tinea, which is the fungus, of the two is slightly different. Tinactin AF will probably cure the jock itch, but because it contains alcohol, it will **smart** when you spray it on your crotch area.

Tinactin (tolnalftate), should also work for jock itch. Lamisil (terbinafine), should also work too. Use them for several weeks even after the condition seems to have cleared, to make sure all the fungus is absolutely dead.
Also keep the area as dry as possible, and change your underware frequently. Wash your clothes, especially underware

Tinactin is an antifungal. It works on all types of skin fungus even jock itch. Lamisil is another over the counter antifungal.

Lamisil can cure both if it is a fungus.
