I live in California, by the Monterey Bay.
The lunch specials at Thai Basil in Capitola (cant-stop-eating); China One Chinese Buffet (all you can eat, and WHAT CHOICES, people!) Santa Cruz; Dharma's (best variety organic vegetarian), Capitola; Charlie Hong Kong (organic Asian street food, slurpy-ishous); and the Acapulco (Mexican w/grand view of the creek) Soquel. That'll keep you busy for a while. Oh, and the restaurant at the De Laveaga Golf Course is up high and offers a truly grandiose view.

Im not just saying this cause my family owns it but, where I live, I'd recommend the Stringbean Coffeeshop for the finest in coffee, tea, salads, sandwiches, even good music
