It used to be the BEST cartoon ever, now it's lame, sad to say-
they must have changed writers.....

What the heck did they do to ruin it so badly??
It's as bad as the movie versions now.... :P

You are so right!! My kids watch Spongebob and they think it's hilarious, but I have to say, at first it was really funny. That's probably because it's something you have seen before and it's really funny, but then when you've seen the same episode about 5 times(as I have 'cos of the kids) it starts to get really crap and you realise just how numb Spongebob and Patrick are. The film finished it for them I think.

When it first started it was fun for me to watch with my kids...
Half the jokes were for adults.
I agree that it has gotten a little more childish the last season... OR actually since the movie...
I definatlely think it was the movie the fame got to thier heads.
Like all good things popularity ruins it...

I enjoy watching Spongebob, my daughter loves it, and they even put some funny parts in it for the grownups so they can laugh too. Its very funny@

I think that they have run out of good story ideas. I think the sponge needs to be put to sleep.
