Increase the volume from the software volume control. Also, see if there is a volume control dial located on your laptop and raise the volume from there.

Get a usb laptop speaker there is no other way do it
but you can still sound little higher under the sound card setting make the hardware accleration to high it must increase the volume a bit

I don't know but I have a toshiba and the sound dosen't go up very loud at all!

Is a button near the spacebar that says "fn" ? Press that button w/ the speaker button that'll be located somewhere around the top right corner of the keyboard... If you can't find it refer to the manual that came with your laptop or go to

if you have a music center, then see if it has an auxiliary button. If it has you can use your earphone outlet to plug into it
The connection is likely to be 3mm stereo jack to red and white Phono plugs. these connections are cheap and improve the sound of your computer dramatically

i bought speakers and an amp it has made a big difference ..i have to turn the sound down now ...especially when im talkin on msn or yahoo with a friend they get feedback lol
