How else are you going to get an answer if you don't ask? I'm sure you've heard the phrase that has been around for ever.... "You'll never learn if you don't ask". Or how about... "There is no such thing as a dumb question". And... "If you don't ask, you will never know".

You should go to the jokes category.
Isn't it considered a joke if you give the answer first and ask someone else to provide the question.

Some people ask because they need answer...others to see how people think and different opinions...some people ask just because they want to ask:)....some for fun...each one of us has his own reason....answers may be funny to some...dont know:)

Because I like to know what other people think, and I try to see things from as many different perspectives as possible.
I also highly recommend that practice to others.

Personaly, I ask questions because there are things I would like to know. Is that hard for you to understand?
