I'd go with the air conditioning and heating and avoid the radiator. A baby can get a pretty nasty burn from a radiator. If you do go with the a/c and heating (I assume you mean a heat pump?), just change the filter regularly. If you're worried about allergens in the air, 3M makes some nice filters you can buy, but they're a bit pricey. We use them, and they really cut down on the dust. (In my opinion, the only bad thing about central a/c is the dust it creates.)

Central air is fine. And to tell you the truth, because of the HEPA filters, central air units actually help control airborn allergens and other nasties floating around your house.
Radiators (if you're talking about the ones that I'm thinking of) don't heat as well and provide a danger to the child when they start walking.
Get the central air units, you will be much happier, and so will your baby!

The central air handler is a much better option than radiators because it is more energy efficient and does much more. As long as you get a air conditioner/ heater with a good air filter its much safer.

I have air conditioning and my baby is fine. In fact, most homes here have A/C and they are perfectly safe for baby. You may want to add a humidifier though. Good luck and congrats!

It can be helpful. Air conditioning can be a bother for anyone, since it causes problems with sinuses.
I'd say, go with whichever is cheaper and most efficient, since having controlled temperatures is better for baby than not.

I had to use an portable air conditioner unit for heating and cooling and they are terrible! Especially in the winter when they dry up the air and it gets really stuffy! I share a room with my son and my sinuses where well blocked up!

I can't see how they aren't safer for babies considering if you have a radiator your child has a chance of getting severly burned if they rub up against it when it's hot or even possibly setting they're clothes on fire.
