I have a very, very close friend who believes she may be pregnant. However, she is afraid to ask anyone for help or answers, and so I'm doing this without her knowledge so I may get some answers for her. Now I need to know - she said that the last time she had sex was 2 months ago, in the beginning of July while on vacation. She also said that she had her period right on time following the trip. Now, I've been reading up on possibilities, and I've read about something called "implantation bleeding." I've read that it's only spotting, within 2 weeks of conception, if at all. But she had a full-on period as far as I'm aware. Is it still possible that she may be with child? She also told me that she hasn't experienced any symptoms of pregnancy at all, but the reason she's worried is that she's 2 days late this cycle, which should have began the 8th. If anyone could give me any tips that I may pass on to her, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

I seriously doubt that she's pregnant. This time of year is prime time for females to skip their periods or be late. She can go buy a home pregnancy test, but I'd bet lots of money that it's negative if she had a full period last month.

2 days is nothing. If she continues to stress her period may even be later. Tell her to go get a pregnancy test and then she will know for sure. But, she is probably not pregnant. You can sometimes be a week late ... sometimes you can even skip a month on your periods! I wouldn't stress until she is more that a week late.

implantation bleeding only lasts a day if that and is usially just a bit of pink spotting. if your friend had her period after she had sex she is not pregnant. i wouldnt worry about 2 days late its probably delayed due to the stress of worrying but if she has doubts a pregnancy test would always clear that up. you usially experience morning sickness as a first sign of pregnancy about a month into it. i would tell your friend not to worry. its most likey she is not pregnant

She's probably NOT pregnant, but a simple home pregnancy test will remove any doubt.

The only sure fire way to tell if she is preg. is to take a test. They have them at the $ store. Just take her there and get one. And have her take it.

Why doesnt she just go get a pee test from the drug store. She can go on her own and pee on it without anyone ever knowing. Then she would know.
