Be honest with him. I may be old fashioned but if you are getting to the "sex" stage you should be sharing a heck of alot more in your life by now. If he thinks bad of you for having an infection well DANG you need to move on and find someone who realizes that PEOPLE get infections throughout their lives in various areas of the body ... simple fact of life! Honesty will only make things better in your life! Live Honestly : )

Wait a while before having sex.

1. A lot of times people have sexual intimacy too soon, and messes up the course of the emotional intimacy developing naturally. You should be *best friends* first.

2. If you are still sensitive you could have some serious pain from intercourse. Wait it out! Ouch. Give it an extra week to heal all the way.

3. If you don't want him to do something, just say you would rather wait on that, you feel that is very personal, and it might be hard for your to relax.

4. If the infection was from an std, I do feel like you should tell any intimate partner about it, since they have a right to know what they are getting into.

Well personally I think that if you are at the stage of being sexually intimate with someone, there should be a certain level of respect, care, concern and trust. Almost all women will suffer from a vaginal infection at some point and time; that does not speak of their overall health. WIth all that said, I think that you should tell him; explain to him about it and tell him that though it has been sucessfully treated, you'd prefer some time. If he treats you badly or isn't considerate, he doesn't deserve you.
However, if you definitely don't want to do it... maybe you can try to delay any situations you may find yourself in wherein oral sex may be required.
Good luck.

If it was a bacteria or an STD then you shouldn't have to explain yourself at all, as long as you have been treated appropriately. That is your business and if you are not ready, then you just aren't ready. If he can't accept this then maybe he isn't the right guy for you. Good luck! :)

i dont think its time yet to tell him the real reason but u can postponed the time for intercourse till u consult a good doctor cause i know that treating bacteria is not so hard but seek doctor help fast before he thinks that u have no desire in him.

You should absolutely tell him the truth and let him know that this can be a common occurrence for some women. I say definitely wait awhile before you become intimate.

honesty is mostly always the right way to go. You should tell him because then he'll most likely understand since its a medical problem. And you dont want to just go ahead with it because you could be risking your health. good luck!

don't tell him anything yet. That can be one later in the relationship. Just put off intimacy until it's totally cleared up and if necessary give lots of oral.

If you really want to tell him then do but if you dont feel comfortable then dont. All I know is... if you cant explain you shouldnt have to. Just tell him you're not ready yet.
