We had a bust up last week and I said I wanted her back, she said she will think about it. She asked me to give her some space. What does this actually mean and how long roughly would it be. I miss her loads and seeing as I am 200 miles away from her at the moment it's getting me down.

Just that she wants a bit of space to sort her head out, maybe you have done something she doesnt like and needs to think about it.

I know this cause i told my partner a couple of weeks ago i needed space just a couple of weeks and he thought i was going to leave him, id never do that cause i love him soooo much.

Dont listen to people saying she wants to see other people or shes found another fellor, its not like that at all, its probably simply cause she needs to sort her head out just the same as me hun.

Goodluck xxx

If the two of you have been fighting on and off alot before the break-up, then she may need the space to sort out her feelings. I used to have a boyfriend whom I argued with all the time and asked for space (mabe a couple of weeks, I was so tired of feeling miserable). I didn't have a new boyfriend and he wouldn't give in, even after I moved out and got a new place so I left him for good. This was telling me that if we stayed together, he'd always be riding my back and I didn't need that day after day.
If the two of you just plane broke up without much of a reason, she probably has another guy already. It sounds like a 50/50. You just need to take your chances. Don't put too much pressure on her or it will be a 100% loss.
Good Luck!

When someone ask for space, it means they want to think about the relationship and how they feel about the other person when they don't see them. All you can do is respect her wishes and give her time. If you havn't heard from her in about a week I would contact her and tell her how you feel and again let her know you want her back. However, I don't want to give you false hope as sometimes people say they want space when they mean the relationship is ended but they havn't got the guts to say so. Hope it works out for you though. Good luck.

It means give her time to think for awhile. Let her know you were serious by checking in with her every once in awhile but give her the space she needs. Just ask her to be honest with you and tell you if there is any chance at all. If you really want her back have some patience.

It means exactly that, give her some space. Just try to relax and leave it up to her to contact you, if she does then you know she wants your relationship to work. If she doesnt then, well, you know where you stand. But if you pester her with phone calls, emails, texts, every single one of them will reaffirm in her head that she doesnt want to be with you. Give her some time to realise what she wants, if she wants you, she will be back. If she doesn't come back, then you have to move on, sooner rather than later. Wish you all the best.

usually that means she don't want to be gf and bf anymore, or she just needs some time to clear her head, if she needs space give it to her, and you take the space and do what you want to do. 200 miles apart is alot, so live your life the way you would want to, and if it's meant to be then you will get back with her..... best of luck

When a woman says she wants space, it's because she's feeling stifled, or it could be because she has another man and wants to get her head around what's the best thing to do.

Your heart is hurting but you need to be strong because, to be honest, your lady could be on the goodbye road.

I can only answer what I feel. I hope I am wrong and that your lady is ready to come back to you. Every experience we go through is there to teach us something, there is a reason for everything and we don't always understand them at the time.

I wish you all the best and I wish you luck.

Sometimes a girl needs some time away fom it all to get her head round things.

Its mainly done to make you sweat squirm and realise what you could be losing if you dont sort yourself out.
It doesnt neccesarilly mean she doesnt want you.

I know it did it wit my boyfriend a year since. Now we are married and very happy.

Good luck let her chill dont pester too much and shell come round eventually!
