EBay usually has some nice dresses, some new and some used. Also try Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. They have some great formal dresses that you could use as a wedding dress.
Remember to look at bridesmaid dress too. You might have an easier time finding a shorter dress in a bridesmaid style than a wedding dress. It doesn't matter how it is categorized, as long as you are happy.
