You will be OK sweetie, this is a normal thing you have to go tru.
Just be ready when your period comes, buy some pads and keep at least 1 with you. OK? My daughter started at 11 also, now she is 12 and she is handling it OK. It just takes a while to get used to having to know when it will come again each month. You will be fine.

It is ok. You will live through it, I promise! Get a pad and some tylenol and keep it in your purse from now on and always have your purse. Then you will be ready. Talk to your Mom about it. (I know! That is weird!) But, she can get you some pantiliners at the store and you can start using them everyday. Then, when you do start, you won't have an embarrasing moment. Make sure and take that Tylenol as soon as you do for any cramps. Welcome to womanhood! ;-)

OK, every girl alive has been just as scared as you, including you Mom, your Aunt, your Grandma, your Greatgrandma, your greatgreat grandma, your Mom's best friend, your cousin, etc. And they all had to ask an adult for help their first time, including me.
Go to the person you feel most comfortable with and just say, "I think I'm starting my period. Can you help??" Trust me, they'll be happy to help you and there's no reason to be embarrassed or scared. We've all had to do the same thing!

I remember how scared and embarrassed I was, only when my period came, it caught me by surprise. Don't worry, your mom, aunt, older female cousins, etc will be helpful to you. Just let them know you are embarrassed, they should respect your wishes. I suggest carrying some pantyliners with you, your first period won't be all that big, and they are a lot more discrete than the larger pads.
Good luck, and welcome to the club!

try to talk to fellow females about this as every female eventually starts their period - believe me once you have had your period a while you will wonder why you were worried hun.
Try to talk to your aunt, a friend (she may be feeling the same way as you), your mum, sister...etc.
Also, if you have noticed small amounts of blood in your underwear...then its likely you have started or going to start soon. Just get yourself prepared by carrying around a pad or 2 and a spare pair of underwear. (just in case!) when it comes, please dont panic...just confinde in someone...you'll be fine.
Take Care

Just bring a bag with you and have a pad handy until you get your period. Take it as a gift, not a burden.
